Position OverviewManage capital projects from concept through commissioning, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and execution.
Develop equipment specifications, process requirements, layouts, and technical solutions while coordinating with OEMs, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Lead stage-gate reviews and maintain required project documentation, validation protocols, safety reviews, and regulatory compliance activities
Improve safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency through engineering analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Education and Skills RequiredBS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
Candidate should have strong critical thinking, problem solving, prioritization, and data analysis skills
Must be capable of management and coordination of multiple resources (production maintenance, facility maintenance, contractors, etc)
Strong financial management skills, with experience in value engineering.
Proficient in the Autodesk Suite is required, CAD.
Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and execute effectively to launch and capital execution deadlines.
Ability to coach and lead others to achieve results, following all safety, quality, and productivity policies and procedures
3-5 years' work experience in a manufacturing environment fulfilling a project engineer role or similar.
3-5 years' experience in Capital Project Management in the design and installation of manufacturing process and packaging systems
