Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire.
CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended within 2 years of hire.
TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire.
Must-Have:
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to deal with people professionally and courteously.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to enhance teamwork through effective role modeling.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Computer literacy required.
Description:
This position involves providing care in the Intensive Care Unit.
Demonstrates behaviors consistent with professionalism, effective communication, and a commitment to safety.
Promotes dignity, respect, well-being, and healthy relationships in the care environment.
The staff member must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care.
Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
Ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status.
Interprets necessary information to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
Provides appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups.
