Job Description
RN - Critical Care

Schedule
- Full Time 3x12 day shift (7a-7:30p)
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required
- 2 On-Call shifts per 4 weeks

Requirements
- License:
Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.

- Certifications:

- BLS, ACLS, PALS required through AHA or RQI system during clinical orientation
- NIHSS required
- Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Minimum 1 year experience in Med Surg/Tele/Critical Care Units
- Must be cross-trained for multi-units (med/surg, ICU, ER)
- Computer literacy preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate professional behavior.
- Float to ICU/ER/MS/MST as needed based on patient care demands.

- Orientation will include certifications and training as specified in the requirements.
