Job Description
RN - Critical Care

Schedule
Full Time 3x12 Night Shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
Holidays & every other weekend required, as well as 2 On-Call shifts per 4 weeks

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Requirements
- Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Med Surg/Tele/Critical Care Units

- Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, PALS required through AHA or RQI system during clinical orientation; NIHSS;
Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire; CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Preferred:
Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association within 2 years of hire; TNCC within 2 years of hire

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in intensive care and emergency settings
- Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans
