Seneca Foods Corporation in Geneva, NY is seeking 1st and 2nd Shift Seasonal Production workers for its 2025 Production Season:
Cabbage Cutting and Sauerkraut - June to December. This timeframe is tentative and can be affected by the weather and crop availability. Seneca provides safe working conditions, paid overtime over 40 hours per week, and hours vary by position. The seasonal nature of our business often requires working overtime. Therefore, hours may fluctuate due to business necessities and meeting operational needs.

Seasonal production positions available include: 1st Shift Janitor, 1st and 2nd Shift Case & Label Auditors, 1st and 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanics, 1st and 2nd Shift Forklift Operators, 1st and 2nd Shift QC Technicians, 1st and 2nd Shift PR Machine Operators, Inspection Line Workers, Sanitation Workers...and other roles!

Job responsibilities include:
Fulfill various production line positions in our food production facility processing fresh vegetables. Perform sanitation functions on a regular basis to prepare the plant for the next scheduled production run. Provide relief during other employees' break periods. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Safety policies/procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Other duties as assigned.

Job requirements include:
Good attention to detail and accuracy. Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment. Able to operate machinery safely and efficiently. Regular attendance. Strong work ethic. Must be 18 years old or older. Flexibility with varied work shift scheduling and start/end times. Starting wage range based on skills, abilities and experience from $16.00 to $16.33 per hour.
