Community Outreach Coordinator
The Community Outreach Coordinator advances the health system's mission by building and maintaining relationships with community partners, increasing awareness of available services, and supporting wellness initiatives. This role focuses on engaging diverse populations, coordinating outreach activities, and connecting the health system with the communities it serves. Under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Digital Strategy, the Coordinator supports the planning, promotion, and execution of community outreach initiatives in collaboration with the Community Services team.
Responsibilities include coordinating the Career Insights Shadowing program, coordinating events, managing registrations, and distributing health education materials. The Coordinator responds to physician referral line and media inquiries as needed, and assists with photography, video production, and social media content. Additional duties include providing office and phone coverage as part of the Community Services/Foundation team.
Minimum:
- Associate degree in related field
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
Minimum:
- Background in community outreach and/or event coordination
Preferred:
- Experience working in healthcare, public health, community outreach, or human services
Minimum:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CANVA, and social media platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and effectively gather and report information.
- Communicates effectively through verbal, written, and telephone interactions.
