ICU Registered Nurse (RN) travel assignment in Geneva, NY (Finger Lakes) — 14-week float pool opportunity for experienced ICU, Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED RNs. Join a supportive upstate New York healthcare team.

Job Details- Location: Geneva, NY 14456 (Finger Lakes / Upstate New York)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020 - $2130 per week
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool / Travel Nurse (Critical Care RN)
- Assignment Type: Travel, Full-Time
- Duration: 14 weeks (3/30/2026 – 7/4/2026)
- Shifts: 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week (7:00am – 7:30pm)
- On-Call: 2 on-call shifts required per 4-week period
- Schedule: Every other weekend & holiday rotations required
- Setting: Float Pool – must be able to work in Med/Surg, ICU, and ED units at both GGH & SSMH
- Job Type: Travel nursing job / ICU RN job / Float Pool RN
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care (ICU) — travel nurse and float pool experience a plus
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or RQI)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Ability and willingness to float between Med/Surg, ICU, and ED units
- Computer literate; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; ability to protect confidential information
- Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Preferred:
Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) certification and TNCC within 2 years of hire
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care across ICU, Med/Surg, and ED units as a float pool RN
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific and evidence-based practices
- Safely float between units to support patient care needs and staffing flexibility
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes in critical care and emergency settings
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Uphold a healing environment that promotes dignity, respect, and patient safety
- Participate in on-call rotations, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled
- Demonstrate professional behavior and contribute positively to team culture and patient experience
