Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) in Geneva, NY – 14-week travel nursing assignment in the Finger Lakes. NY RN license, BLS and ACLS required.

• Position Type: Travel Nurse, Full-Time (Medical-Surgical RN)
• Location: On-site in Geneva, NY (14456) – Finger Lakes region; ideal for New York nursing jobs seekers
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1960-$2070/week
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: July 4, 2026
• Duration: 14 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 3x12 hour rotating shifts (days or nights as scheduled); every other weekend & holidays required; 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks

• Active New York State RN licensure (required for Travel RN assignments in NY)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or RQI only)
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) environment
• Experience with adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in acute care hospital settings and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a medical-surgical unit as a Travel Nurse/Med-Surg RN
• Perform thorough patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and update plans based on clinical changes
• Deliver direct patient care, administer medications, and complete nursing interventions per hospital protocols
• Monitor patient progress, document responses, and communicate changes to the care team
• Educate patients and families on self-care, discharge instructions, and chronic disease management
• Support a healing environment and provide emotional support to patients and families
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and performance improvement activities
• Adhere to infection prevention strategies, safety protocols, and clinical documentation standards
