Schedule
- Full-time day or night shift (3x12 hours), scheduled as needed
- Every other weekend, holiday
- 2 On Call shifts per 4-week period

Requirements
- Current RN Licensure in New York State
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Stroke Certification (must be AHA or RQI)
- Two years of acute hospital experience as an RN
- One year of Emergency Department experience as an RN

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and identify urgent or emergent care priorities in the Emergency Department.
- Provide direct nursing care and apply appropriate interventions while evaluating patient progress.
- Conduct primary and secondary assessments of patients, noting any major deviations from the norm, and documenting findings accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the best possible patient outcomes and provide teaching to patients and families regarding care.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and their families throughout the care process, ensuring they are informed and comfortable.
- Address physiological, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients across all age groups.

Compliance / Notes
