  • Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p / 7p-7a), variable schedule as needed, every other weekend, holidays, and 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,020 - $2,130 per week
Job Requirements (ICU RN / Critical Care Nurse)
  • Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience required
  • Certifications:

    BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or RQI only)
  • NIHSS certification
  • Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire
  • CPI certification within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills important for travel nurses and ICU RNs
  • Computer literacy; experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
  • Ability to provide age-appropriate care across lifespan: pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Preferred:
    Emergency Nurses Association certification and TNCC within 2 years of hire
Responsibilities (Travel Nurse / ICU RN Duties)
  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans as a critical care nurse
  • Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, telemetry, hemodynamics, and respond to changes in condition
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA standards
  • Participate in on-call rotations, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled
  • Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and commitment to a healing environment
  • Support and model teamwork, patient safety, dignity, and respect in all interactions
