Description:

We are looking for OR Registered Nurses who can circulate in multiple service lines.
Candidates must have experience with Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, GI, Spine, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry procedures.
Experience in Client, GYN, Vascular, Cardiothoracic, and organ transplant is not required.
Our ideal candidates will have worked in small community hospital settings and may potentially be required for on-call shifts.
Candidates should have familiarity with various equipment and service lines, though they do not need to be experts in all areas.
The Registered Nurse applies nursing knowledge and communication skills to deliver high-quality care to patients and families.
The RN assesses patient needs, developing plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
They will provide direct care, evaluate patient progress, and coordinate care throughout the patient's episode.
The OR RN must be able to accommodate adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations.
They are responsible for patient and family education to promote understanding and self-care after hospitalization.
The RN will apply nursing skills, assess and monitor patient needs, and adjust care plans as necessary.
They will also advocate for and protect the health and safety of patients while promoting a healing environment.
The position requires compliance with infection prevention strategies.
The RN will teach patients and families about post-discharge care, evaluating retention of key information.
Candidates must engage in quality improvement activities to enhance nursing practice and care delivery.
Developing meaningful relationships with patients and families is an essential part of this role.
Candidates will demonstrate skill in medication administration and intervention application.
There is a potential for exposure to blood borne pathogens in this role.
