Title
Clinical Leader - Nursing
Schedule
Full-time Night Shift (3x12 hours) - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend, holidays
Assignment Details
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Requirements
- NYS RN Licensure
- 3 years of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse
- 1 year of critical care experience, preferably in the Emergency Department
- 1 year of leadership experience at the Charge Nurse level
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certification within 90 days of hire
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate clinical activities throughout the acute care setting during specified shifts.
- Provide clinical leadership and assist nursing staff in planning, organizing, evaluating, and delivering care to patients.
- Collaborate with nursing managers and staff to monitor staffing levels and adjust as needed based on patient acuity.
- Support nursing staff in managing emergency clinical or administrative situations.
- Facilitate the competency assessment and development needs of nursing staff.
- Participate in nursing leadership committees and problem-solving groups to enhance patient care delivery.
Compliance / Notes
- Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated.
- Required tasks involve potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
