Job Description

TITLE:

Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

SCHEDULE:

- Shift: 4x10s per week
- Days:
Monday to Friday
- Shift Start Times: 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 7:30 AM based on assigned role

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Guaranteed

Hours:

40 hours per week (1st shift) or 36 hours per week (2nd shift)

REQUIREMENTS:
- New York State Registered Nurse Licensure
- One year of experience in an Endoscopy environment as a Registered Nurse
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply nursing knowledge and skills in delivering patient care.
- Assess patient and family needs, developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and adjust care plans based on patient responses.
- Educate patients and families on self-care and health management.
- Foster a supportive and trusting relationship with patients and families.
- Comply with infection prevention and safety protocols.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES:
- Must comply with background check and drug screening policies.
- Occupation exposure to blood borne pathogens is anticipated.
