Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Emergency Nursing
Schedule:
Part Time, Day/Night rotations (2x12s) + every other shift for on-call duties
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 26 weeks
- Guaranteed
Hours:
2 shifts per week
Requirements:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (Must be AHA or RQI)
- Two years of acute hospital experience as an RN
- One year of ED hospital experience as an RN
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families in the Emergency Department.
- Conduct assessments to identify urgent or emergent care needs and prioritize care according to established standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement appropriate interventions and evaluate patient progress.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
- Maintain effective communication and rapport with patients and families during their care journey.
- Adhere to infection prevention strategies and uphold patient safety protocols.
