Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool

RN – Critical Care

Schedule:

Full-time 3x12 day shift (7a-7:30p) with holiday and weekend rotations.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 26 weeks

Requirements:

• License:
  Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS required through AHA or RQI system. NIHSS certification required. Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire. CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 1 year of experience in Med Surg/Tele/Critical Care units.
• Additional:
  Must be cross-trained for multiple units (Med/Surg, ICU, ER).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in critical and acute conditions.
• Assess patients to identify their care needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate patient treatment plans and follow-ups.
• Monitor and document patient progress, response to treatment, and overall condition.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and enhance teamwork through role modeling.
