Schedule:

4x9s (36 hours/week);
Shifts start at 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 7:30 AM, depending on assigned role.

Requirements:

• NYS RN Licensure
• One (1) year experience serving in an Endoscopy environment as a Registered Nurse
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients and families.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on patient responses or changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on self-care practices and post-hospitalization needs.
• Promote a safe and supportive healing environment for patients and families.
• Engage in continuous self-evaluation and professional development to enhance nursing practice.

Compliance / Notes:

• All contracts must run through the holidays; end date is flexible.
• Required to participate in on-call rotation, including 6-8 days of call per month, which must include 1 Friday, 1 Saturday, and 1 Sunday with a response time of 1 hour.
