Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full Time Nights

This position requires full-time commitment with a schedule of 5x8 hours per week, including every other weekend and holiday shifts.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to our residents. The ideal candidate will possess a New York State Nursing Assistant Certification and have at least one year of long-term care experience. You will be responsible for meeting residents' activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADLs, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and positioning.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, responding promptly to call lights and alarms.
• Support residents' nutritional needs, including meal delivery and feeding assistance.
• Conduct rehabilitative support, including range of motion exercises and safe transfers.
• Report residents' rights, refusals, and any changes in condition to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Follow infection control protocols, especially in cases involving exposure to blood and body fluids.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• New York State Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• One year of previous long-term care experience is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
