Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Part-Time Evenings

Position available in New York State.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Part-time shifts available for evenings; must be available for full shift orientation on Tuesday or Thursday.

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a passion for providing high-quality care to residents in a long-term care facility. The CNA will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of residents by meeting their daily living needs as outlined in their individual care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents, including responding promptly to call lights and alarms.
• Support nutritional needs through meal delivery and adaptive feeding assistance while honoring residents' preferences.
• Implement rehabilitation needs as outlined in care plans, such as range of motion exercises and proper body alignment.
• Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.
• Document all care provided per established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active NYS Nursing Assistant Certification.
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI certification only).
• Minimum of one year of previous experience in long-term care (LTC) as a CNA.
• High school diploma or GED required.
