Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Geneva, NY. Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse:

• Assess patient needs, identify care priorities, and provide direct care with appropriate interventions
• Manage life-threatening and routine emergency situations using invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Conduct primary and secondary assessments using direct observation, interviews, and EMS reports
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation among team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Prepare patients and families for diagnostic procedures and educate them on continuing care at home
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and families throughout their ED stay

Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse:

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Stroke Certification (Must be AHA or RQI)
• Two years of acute hospital experience as an RN
• One year of ED hospital experience as an RN
• NYS RN Licensure
