Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position available. The role requires assisting residents with daily living needs such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care per care plan. Maintaining resident safety and the environment is essential, including responding to call lights and preventing falls. Supporting residents with meals includes delivering trays, helping with feeding, and honoring food preferences. Assisting with mobility and rehab needs, such as range of motion exercises, walking, transfers, and proper positioning is required.

Taking and recording vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure is part of the job. Measuring and recording weight, intake, and output is also necessary. Assisting with the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents is required. Helping with residents' social and emotional needs through interaction and companionship is important. Confidentiality and residents' rights must be maintained at all times.

Resident concerns, changes, or refusals must be reported to the nurse promptly. All required documentation must be completed in a timely manner per protocol. Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks may lead to contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
