T-Mark is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to manage residential and light commercial installations in the Buffalo, NY area. In this role, you'll install and commission furnaces, air conditioners, and ductwork, while overseeing a small team to ensure code compliance, safety, and high-quality workmanship. You'll read blueprints, coordinate with plumbing and electrical crews, and solve on-site challenges. T-Mark offers a customer-first culture, hands-on learning across trades, licensing support, and a path to advance into higher-level supervisory roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, and ductwork
- Supervise and mentor installers and apprentices, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards
- Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of new HVAC systems to manufacturer and code requirements
- Interpret blueprints, specs, and work orders to plan efficient installation layouts and material needs
- Ensure code compliance, proper permits, and documentation for all installed systems
- Troubleshoot installation issues and coordinate with plumbing and electrical teams as needed
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining system operation and answering questions
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and job sites in a clean, safe, and organized condition
- Provide input on process improvements and training needs to support team development
- Uphold T-Mark's customer-first culture through reliable, respectful service on every job
