Role Summary
We are seeking a Specialist to join the Forum Innovator Team. In this role, you will support the smooth running of the innovator communities through hands-on event preparation and day-to-day community maintenance. You will help ensure that innovator companies are onboarded and offboarded correctly, that communities remain accurate and up to date, and that companies with outstanding obligations are managed appropriately.
Key Responsibilities- Support event preparation across Forum flagship and community events, ensuring operational readiness and coordination with relevant teams
- Maintain the integrity of innovator communities, including sending onboarding and offboarding materials to companies
- Ensure that companies are promptly and accurately removed from communities once they leave
- Manage unpaids, coordinating with relevant internal stakeholders to follow up and resolve outstanding cases
- Identify and assess prospective Technology Pioneers, Global Innovators and other emerging companies aligned with Forum priorities
- Support the innovator presence and programming at flagship events, including the Annual Meeting in Davos, the Annual Meeting of the New Champions and the Sustainable Development Impact Meeting
- Collaborate with colleagues across centres, industries and regions to embed innovators into thematic initiatives
- Track engagement and community maintenance metrics, produce insights and contribute to continuous improvement of the innovator experience
- Master’s degree in business, international affairs, technology, public policy or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a start-up ecosystem, venture capital, corporate innovation, community management, consulting or an international organization
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies, entrepreneurship and global innovation ecosystems
- Strong operational and organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages an asset
- Proven ability to work across cultures and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
