THE ROLE- Conduct comprehensive financial audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Investigate and identify potential financial fraud, irregularities, and discrepancies.
- Analyse financial data and transactions using SAP to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective fraud prevention measures.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Provide recommendations for improving internal controls and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in financial auditing, with a strong emphasis on financial fraud or forensic accounting.
- Proven experience in the shipping industry is highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel analysis skills and ability to work with big data, to process it and analyze it.
- Proficiency in SAP and other financial software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
- French or Spanish desirable.
- Based in Geneva.
- Full Time.
- Starting ASAP.
- Travel:
Willingness to travel internationally (~50%). - EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit (B or
C) required.
