You will reinforce the team by helping to ensure that all inherent risks associated with Pictet AM Swiss‑domiciled funds are properly managed, assist with the continued development and implementation of the Pictet AM Man Co Risk Management framework—including the investment risk management framework— and by helping the Head of Man Co Risk to provide senior management with information about the risks facing the business and the effectiveness of mitigating actions.

Your tasks will include :

• Assisting the Head of Man Co Risk in ensuring that investment risks are identified and appropriately managed.
• Ensuring that regulatory risks for Pictet AM Swiss‑domiciled funds are properly managed.
• Independently reviewing and assessing potential investment breaches for Pictet AM Swiss‑domiciled funds.
• Overseeing delegated investment controlling activities and risk management capabilities of delegated portfolio managers.
• Maintaining and updating fund risk profiles and ensuring that policies and procedures related to the activity are properly updated and maintained.
• Contributing to Pictet AM Swiss‑domiciled fund events management (e.g. launches, mergers, etc.) from a risk perspective, and overseeing these events.
• Maintaining and updating fund risk profiles and ensuring that policies and procedures related to the activity are properly updated and maintained.
• Contributing to risk reporting to the governing bodies (e.g. executive management, Board of Directors).
• Contributing to preparing responses to regulators’ requests about risk‑related topics and to the oversight of counter party risk.

• University degree (undergraduate or postgraduate), or a qualification deemed equivalent.
• CFA, CAIA or FRM would be an asset.
• Three to five years’ experience in a similar role (investment and regulatory risk management) in the asset management industry.
• In‑depth understanding of the asset management industry (portfolio management, trading, administration and fund distribution).
• Experience in counter party risk management.
• Good knowledge of Swiss requirements in terms of risk management and of Swiss regulations for asset management and funds (knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory environment would be an asset).
• Sound financial knowledge.
• Fluent in French and English;
  German would be a plus.
• Skilled user of standard IT applications (MS Office).
• Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
