Group Head of Structured Finance & Syndication

Corporate Banking includes Structured Finance & Syndication and has always been a core pillar of the bank's strategic development, with ambitious expansion plans over the next years. As part of a planned succession, the bank is seeking a seasoned professional to take ownership of this franchise and drive its next phase of growth.

• Take ownership of the structured finance and syndication franchise and drive its next phase of growth
• Define and lead the syndication and distribution strategy of the institution.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team across Geneva and Zurich
• Ensure a smooth leadership transition while maintaining team cohesion and strategic clarity
• Manage and take full ownership of the existing portfolio of structured finance and syndicated transactions
• Drive business development by originating new financing opportunities and strengthening relationships with banks
• Expand distribution to insurers and non-bank investors and position the team in the Swiss structured finance market
• Oversee the full transaction lifecycle, including structuring, pricing, legal, and financial aspects
• Ensure strong governance and coordination with internal stakeholders (Credit, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations)
• Lead negotiations with borrowers, lenders, partners, advisors, and insurers

• 10+ years of experience in corporate finance, structured finance, leveraged finance, or syndication
• Proven ability to manage complex financing processes within the Swiss market
• Experience leading teams with readiness to step into a leadership role during a planned succession
• Strong structuring, analytical, and documentation capabilities
• Deep understanding of Swiss banking processes, credit frameworks, and execution standards
• Ability to operate effectively in demanding, multi-party, time-sensitive transactions
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills with senior counterparts
• Fluency in English, French, and German; additional languages are a plus
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and hands‑on mindset
• Commercially driven with a strategic outlook and motivation to take ownership of a key franchise
