The Role

You’ll own the full back‑office function of a regulated digital asset firm and manage a lean ops team of 2‑3. Expect 60‑80% hands‑on operational execution alongside team leadership. This is a build‑and‑run role with real ownership: you’ll set standards, improve processes, and ensure everything settles cleanly across a complex product stack (equities, bonds, crypto, tokenised assets). You’ll report directly to a senior member of the founding team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full settlement and booking cycle: securities, cash, digital assets (trades, deposits/withdrawals, corporate actions, staking, fees, taxes, reversals)
  • Daily position and transaction reconciliations / investigate and resolve breaks
  • Manage the security master file and correspondent banking relationships
  • Ensure proper accounting and book‑keeping across middleware and core banking system
  • Produce regulatory reports (trade, transaction, derivatives, stamp tax) and client reports (tax statements, portfolio reports)
  • Apply 4‑eyes principle and travel rule compliance on all transaction input/verification
  • Act as business‑side partner for IT: test features, flag bugs, drive platform improvements
  • Support compliance and client teams on client master file management

Profil recherché

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in business, economics, banking, or accounting
  • 8‑10+ years in back‑office operations at a regulated financial institution (bank, securities firm, asset manager, or fintech)
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Solid expertise in settlement, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting, across traditional and/or digital asset classes
  • Genuine curiosity about crypto and blockchain, you don’t need to be a native, but you need to care; if you are already crypto‑native, it is a huge plus!
  • Highly organised, ownership‑driven, autonomous, detail‑oriented, hands‑on
  • Fluent English required;
    French B2+ is a strong advantage for day‑to‑day integration in Geneva
