Payment Specialist (12‑month contract)

As part of the Technology & Operations unit, within the Operations department, you will strengthen the Payments Transactions department as a member of a nine‑person team responsible for controlling and executing transfer orders.

• Process account closures accurately and promptly to adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies, ensuring smooth account management transitions for clients.
• Analyze, control, and execute various types of incoming payments – client incoming funds, bank‑to‑bank transfers, and manual entries – to manage cash flows effectively and maintain accurate financial records.
• Analyze, control, and execute different types of outgoing payments – customer payments, bank‑to‑bank transfers, standing orders, QR payments, pending LSVs, and DTA/CSV/SAP files – to facilitate seamless and secure fund transfers.
• Manage the bank’s various mailboxes efficiently, responding to inquiries and requests from internal clients in a timely and professional manner to provide excellent customer service and support.
• Process management fees accurately and in compliance with established guidelines to ensure correct billing and financial reporting.
• Manage broadcast and analyze requests from Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners for changes in correspondent relationships, ensuring smooth communication and operational efficiency.
• Conduct investigations and resolve pending reconciliations related to outgoing payments, incoming funds, and correspondent fees to uphold financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Actively participate in IT projects, contributing insights and expertise to drive successful project outcomes and enhance operational systems for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

• Professional maturity from a business school or CFC.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in banking operations, specifically in payments (SWIFT, SIC, EUROSIC, SEPA).
• Strong knowledge of SWIFT messages.
• Team‑player with flexibility and dynamism.
• Excellent communication skills and respect for colleagues.
• Ability to work well under stress.
• Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in implementing improvements and innovation (new ideas or methods to execute tasks).
• Proficient in French and English (level B2 or above); additional languages are a plus.
• Resident in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
