Application Support Specialist

For a Swiss Private Bank, we are looking for a Trading Application Support FOREX specialist to provide day-to-day application support for FX trading platforms used by Front Office users and traders. The role requires strong knowledge of Forex products and hands‑on experience with FX trading applications such as Smart Trade, 360T, Integral, and ULBridge.

• Provide Level 1 / Level 2 application support for FX trading platforms.
• Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of trading applications used by Front Office teams.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production incidents impacting trading activities.
• Liaise closely with traders and business users to understand issues and provide timely support.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors for issue resolution and escalation management.
• Monitor trading application health, interfaces, and production flows.
• Support production changes, releases, testing activities, and post‑release validation.
• Contribute to incident trend analysis, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement of the support model.
• Maintain operational documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Work in a demanding and time‑sensitive Front Office environment, ensuring high responsiveness and quality of service.

• Strong knowledge of Forex / FX products, including:
• Spot
• Forward
• Swap
• NDF
• FX options (nice to have depending on scope)

• Proven experience with one or more of the following FX trading applications:
• Smart Trade
• 360T
• Integral
• ULBridge
• Solid experience in application support within a trading or Front Office environment.
• Good understanding of incident management, production support processes, and escalation handling.
• Familiarity with e‑trading platforms, market connectivity, and trading workflows.
• Knowledge of SQL, log analysis, FIX connectivity, or monitoring tools would be an advantage.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Financial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong experience in trading application support, ideally within a banking or capital markets environment.
• Ability to interact directly with demanding Front Office users in a high‑pressure production setting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Service‑oriented mindset, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
