Job Description

International Private Bank, Private Banker, Turkey Market, Geneva. This role is part of J.P. Morgan’s EMEA Private Banking business, based in Geneva. You will collaborate with a diverse team to deliver a first‑class experience for clients, providing investment, banking, trust services and financial planning across the Turkish market.

Job Summary

As a Private Banker you will lead new client acquisition and retention, ensuring a seamless client experience by coordinating with specialists across the firm to deliver comprehensive wealth‑management solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prospect and acquire new clients from Turkey.
  • Own sales and implementation of investment, banking and trust/estate products to core clients.
  • Leverage and coordinate specialists (Investor, Capital Advisor, Trust and Estate Advisor and Wealth Advisor) to provide interdisciplinary expertise for complex clients.
  • Manage each account to ensure a completed profile and that accounts are properly maintained and serviced, adhering to J.P. Morgan Risk Management policies.
  • Build trust with clients and manage relationships effectively.
  • Ensure that proposed products and services maximize clients’ needs, goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications , Capabilities, And Skills
  • Significant experience in Private Banking working with UHNW individuals and families.
  • Previous business development experience.
  • Achievement‑oriented, focused on exceeding business goals with attention to detail.
  • Proven sales success – prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling, closing the sale and asking for referrals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong relationship management and team‑building skills; views team concept as critical to mode.
  • Demonstrated understanding of investments, banking and trust concepts including asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions and basic trust and estate products.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business, including regulatory and technological environments.
  • Fluency in Turkish and English required.
