Executive Director - Private Banking

James & Partners has been mandated to discreetly identify a Executive Director for an established independent Swiss private banking group.

This is a confidential opportunity for a proven relationship manager with a portable client base, a strong track record in private banking, and the credibility to operate with UHNW, family office, entrepreneur and international private client relationships.

The bank offers a stable Swiss platform with a strong balance sheet, an established private banking heritage, and a broad investment proposition across advisory, discretionary management, structured solutions, alternative investments and digital assets.

This is suited to a senior banker who wants more than just a booking platform. The ideal candidate will be looking for a long term home where they can build, consolidate and grow client assets within a discreet, well capitalised and relationship led environment.

We are looking to speak with senior private bankers who can demonstrate:

• A portable or transferable client book
• Experience managing UHNW, family office, entrepreneur or international private client relationships
• A strong understanding of Swiss private banking standards, suitability, risk and cross border discipline
• The ability to originate, retain and develop client assets
• A discreet, mature and commercially credible approach
• The potential appetite for broader responsibility over time

Individual bankers and established teams with a credible asset base will both be considered.

Indicative total compensation will sit in the region of CHF 300,000 to CHF 600,000, depending on the banker’s profile, client base, portability of assets and seniority.
