YOUR ROLE
As part of the Finance Department, you will support the smooth operation of the Bank’s accounting and financial activities. Your responsibilities will include processing and controlling accounting transactions in compliance with applicable regulatory and tax requirements, while contributing to the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESIn this role, you will:
- Process banking accounting transactions.
- Manage accounts payable in Abacus, including recording, monitoring and payment execution.
- Manage tangible fixed assets in Abacus, including acquisitions, depreciation and asset disposals.
- Participate in analytical accounting of overhead costs and cost allocation.
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Assist with the accounting of the securities portfolio.
- Contribute to the preparation and compilation of prudential regulatory reports, including capital adequacy, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, large exposures, etc.
- Participate in periodic financial closing activities.
- Perform accounting controls within the scope of the role and ensure the quality of financial data.
- Comply with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and applicable confidentiality rules.
- Collaborate with the Bank's various departments and provide support for Finance Department projects and activities.
You have:
- A Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) in Commercial Business or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a banking institution.
- A solid understanding of banking operations.
- Native-level French; good command of English; knowledge of German is an asset.
- Advanced Excel skill; knowledge of Abacus and Olympic is a plus.
- Knowledge of cost accounting and management control is an asset.
