Chief of Staff H/F DESCRIPTION DE LA MISSIONThe Chief of Staff acts as the CEO's strategic sparring partner and integrator, ensuring business wide alignment and execution while holding a unique 360° view across the business, leadership, and transformation agenda.
CEO Priorities & Office Effectiveness- Maintain and update quarterly CEO priorities, ensuring the CEO Office filters, sequences, and prioritises inputs efficiently.
- Protect the CEO's time and attention by enabling an agile, well coordinated operating environment.
- Ensure high priority matters progress at pace by providing clarity, coordination, and proactive follow through.
- Identify blockers, connect key stakeholders, and reinforce accountability to keep commitments on track.
- Take ownership and steer key CEO priorities on the CEO's behalf, driving coordinated execution across functions, ensuring momentum is maintained, and translating strategic intent into clear, actionable work streams.
- Coordinate and steer central company transformation programmes, driving disciplined execution, clear operating rhythms, dashboards, and senior briefings.
- Oversee and measure the impact of function led transformation, enhancing visibility of plans, risks, and progress across the organisation.
- Drive organisation wide engagement and accountability by convening and coordinating senior leadership communities (e.g., Transformation Leaders Network).
- Enable strong cross functional collaboration on matters central to the company's strategic direction, ensuring alignment, clarity of ownership, and momentum across work streams.
- Support the CEO in building and managing the Board agenda, ensuring topics are strategically sequenced, materials are coherent and aligned with the CEO's perspective, and engagement is prepared and coordinated to drive high quality dialogue and decision making.
- Develop Board ready materials that translate business priorities into clear narratives aligned with the CEO's strategic voice.
- Provide insights to senior leaders on Board feedback, perceptions, and areas of focus to inform follow up actions.
- Monitor Board sentiment to guide future messaging and material sequencing.
- Lead coordination for executive team level engagements, including weekly Heads Up Calls and Executive offsites.
- Connect key leaders to resolve strategic issues, unblock decisions, and move CEO critical initiatives forward.
- Enable and facilitate Executive team engagement for collaborative decision making, discussion and problem-solving on priority topics.
- Strengthen the CEO's external profile through strategic engagement planning across geographies, with key customer accounts, partners and industry influencers.
- Support internal engagement strategies that build employee connection and reinforce leadership influence, leveraging opportunities such as the Global Staff Calls and local Townhalls.
- Lead high impact special projects on behalf of the CEO—from inception to outcomes—to address emerging strategic opportunities, capability gaps, or operational challenges across the business.
- Define monitoring and execution rhythms to move fast with control, ensuring visibility to the CEO, risk management, and timely decisions.
- Frame the problem and define success by clarifying objectives, scope, ownership, and critical path, aligned to the CEO's agenda.
- Mobilise cross functional teams and partners to secure resources, clear blockers, and maintain momentum through disciplined follow through.
Lead and develop a small, high impact team:
- Provide guidance and oversight to the team member responsible for shaping and amplifying the CEO's external and internal brand, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Coach the team member driving transformation visibility, progress tracking, and cross functional coordination—building capability, confidence, and influence.
- Highly discreet, reliable and politically astute.
- Able to operate with pace, ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Naturally collaborative, service-oriented and proactive.
- Confident influencing without formal authority.
- Clear, structured and impactful in written and verbal communication.
- Fluent in English;
French is a plus. - Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with proven experience in a similar position and direct exposure working closely with a CEO, Executive Committee and/or Board.
- Strong exposure to:
- Executive and board-level governance.
- Cross-functional coordination and rigorous follow-up.
- Strategic initiatives and transformation programmes.
- University degree required
- Background in business, management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- International exposure and experience in complex, matrix organisations is a strong asset.
