For one of our projects with a United Nations Agency, Dropa Code is looking for a Salesforce Senior Project Manager to work onsite in Geneva or remotely from a nearshore Europe location, following CET working hours.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage all aspects of project and engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources. Chair the project management team meetings.
  • Procure and secure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned time frames.
  • Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, and communicating across leadership.
  • Engage with external stakeholders and internal business sponsor and focal points across the Organization globally and providing them with updates. Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address the Organization’s goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsor, CIO, and key stakeholders.
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communications.
  • Work with the designated Change Manager to ensure change management is integrated with project management timelines and activities.
  • Ensure changes across multiple and simultaneous work streams are synchronized.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team.
  • Monitor the performance of project team members.
  • Actively manage the engagement contract(s) with vendors. Lead and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections, and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders.
  • Define the Statement of Work and specifications for the requested goods and services.
  • Actively and proactively manage the work and deliverables of the vendors; i.e. challenging their work estimates, reviewing their deliverables, monitoring the work of resources on-site, near-shore, offshore.
  • Conduct regular meetings and progress reviews with the vendors and removing bottlenecks to delivery. Assist in dispute, negotiation, or arbitration as needed.
  • Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution. Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities.

Your profile:

  • First-level university degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Professional qualification or certification in project management methodologies such as PMI, Prince 2, Agile SCRUM and Salesforce certifications.
  • Over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in IT solution design, development, administration, or support.
  • 7 years of professional experience in the management of Salesforce architecture and product leadership, including experience in the area of digital transformation strategies and enterprise systems. Demonstrated experience managing human and financial resources. Demonstrated exposure at the international level.
  • Proven experience in executive level stakeholder management.
  • Experience in collaborating with teams (physically or virtually) in an international and multi-cultural environment whilst producing results.
  • Proven experience in writing project plans and project-related documentation.
