Location: Genf
Overview
Morgan Philips has been retained by a luxury emblematic 5 hotel on the border of the lake Leman to recruit a Director of Sales & Marketing.
Our client is looking for a leader, bringing proven sales expertise and experience combined with a strong marketing exposure.
ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Management :
- Prepare and monitor budgets & forecasts,
- Create and implement plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rate and increase volume,
- Lead and manage sales, events and marketing team (8 persons).
Sales :
- Establishing contact and acquiring potential new customers as well as supporting existing customers,
- Expansion of the market position and creation of the sales action plan,
- Preparation of the annual sales budget as well as ensuring compliance,
- Implementation of the growth-oriented sales strategy for the national and international market, including success monitoring.
Marketing :
- Development of the marketing strategy for the Hotel in cooperation with the hotel group,
- PR planning including coordination with PR agencies & supervision of media & influencer trips,
- Social media strategy and plannings as well as monitoring in cooperation with social media & content manager,
- Responsible for the hotel website and newsletters.
- Mastering English and French,
- Experience in a leading sales and marketing position in a luxury hotel ideally in CH,
- Experience leading a large sales & marketing team,
- Portfolio / network of key players within the hospitality industry in all segments (key partners such as key agencies and partners in the US, Asia, UK, MICE agencies in CH and Europe etc..),
- Strong business and result oriented,
- Strong relational, communication and negotiation skills,
- Higher degree in Hospitality Management or Sales / Marketing.
