MISSION
The Sales Producers Manager at MKS PAMP is responsible for managing and expanding the portfolio of precious metals producers (mining groups and operators). The role focuses on client relationship management, business development, and operational sales execution within the producer segment.
This position requires frequent international travel, including to complex environments, to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with producers. The successful candidate will be a hardworking and passionate sales professional with strong interpersonal skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a solid understanding of the mining sector’s mentality and realities.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development & Customer Engagement- Develop and maintain a portfolio of producer clients in the precious metals sector.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities and support the acquisition of new clients.
- Conduct regular mine site visits to strengthen relationships and assess practices.
- Represent MKS PAMP at industry events and client meetings to reinforce brand visibility.
- Execute the sales plan for the producer segment in alignment with the Head of Sales Producers.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial offers and contracts, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
- Ensure the ongoing follow-up of client accounts and propose tailored solutions.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across refining, trading, and other MKS PAMP services.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Trading, Logistics, Operations, Compliance, Finance) to ensure integrated client service.
- Contribute to KYC processes and accompany on-site evaluations to support compliance and responsible sourcing.
- Ensure administrative accuracy and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- 7–10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in precious metals, commodities, or mining.
- University degree in Business, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven ability to grow accounts and deliver on commercial targets.
- Understanding of the precious metals mining sector dynamics and field challenges.
- Good understanding or experience in airfreight logistics is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build trustful and long-lasting relationships with mines;
- Strong negotiation and account management capabilities;
- Resilient, adaptable, and pragmatic, with a good intercultural understanding;
- Strong willingness to travel extensively worldwide, including in challenging regions;
- Hard-working, passionate and results driven;
- Ability to interact with colleagues of diverse cultures; respect for diversity;
- Full professional proficiency in the Windows environment is expected;
- Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English and French is required;
Spanish and / or Portuguese a strong plus. - Swiss national, EU national, or holder of a valid Swiss work permit.
