As a Jr Trader in our Pulp Division, you will work alongside an experienced network of traders while taking responsibility in developing and shaping our business in the German market - acting as the commercial link between suppliers and customers.
The Role and MarketThis is a hands‑on, commercial role with significant freedom and responsibility, focused on physical pulp trading. Ideal if you are in the early stage of your trading career and ready to take the next step. With Germany as your primary market, you will actively develop business opportunities through deeper partnerships, new customer relationships, and proactive market engagement.
Based in Geneva, you will work in a truly international trading environment, closely connected to suppliers, customers, and colleagues across regions.
Your Impact- Maintain and expand the sales, mainly in the Germany Market.
- Act as a trusted partner to suppliers and customers, providing market insights and securing new business opportunities.
- Travel frequently to build relationships, establish presence, and support business development - both independently and alongside suppliers.
- Attend industry conferences to connect with current and potential partners.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts, including spot and long‑term agreements, with both suppliers and customers.
- Monitor market trends and proactively present opportunities to our principals.
- Commercial mindset – you are curious to understand margins, market dynamics, and how to create value.
- Communication skills – you communicate engaging, listen actively and adapt your message to diverse audience.
- Ability to build relationships and maintain trust over time.
- Self‑leadership – you take ownership, stay resilient, and deliver results.

- Around three years experience in international trading or related industry.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to travel.
