A well respected, independently-minded brokerage firm is searching for a sharp, commercially driven S&P Shipbroker to join its close-knit team in Geneva. With a strong track record in tanker and asset transactions across Europe, Africa, and the Far East, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a high‑impact desk within a business that thrives on collaboration, insight‑sharing, and building long‑term relationships.
This is more than a brokerage role – it’s a rare opportunity to embed yourself in a dynamic, French‑speaking environment where entrepreneurial thinking and deep sector expertise are celebrated. You’ll play a vital part in driving sales across various vessel types and geographies, supported by a leadership team that values independence, intelligence, and integrity.
Key responsibilities- Strategic Deal Origination & Execution – Source, negotiate, and close vessel sales globally, from 10K DWT to Aframax class.
- Client Development & Network Growth – Utilise and expand your existing network of buyers and sellers to drive momentum and opportunity.
- Commercial Intelligence & Collaboration – Operate in a culture of transparency, mutual support, and shared insights to maximise outcomes.
- Geographical Reach & Market Agility – Engage in active markets across Europe, Africa, and Asia, or pioneer growth in new regions.
- Technical & Financial Acumen – Apply a sharp, analytical mindset to every transaction, ideally backed by a relevant degree or Master’s qualification.
