You will join both the Sales and Sales Operations teams located at our EMEA headquarters near Geneva. The Sales Operations team focuses on sales analytics, process and tool improvements, and general support. The department has 4 members and is part of the broader European Sales Team of more than 70 people across Europe. Primary stakeholders include the Sales Manager for Columbia Europe and the Value Channel Director.
PositionSummary
We are looking for a motivated Sales Coordinator Intern to manage key accounts and value accounts, providing hands‑on experience in sales operations, data analysis and account coordination across major partners. You will support the sales team with smooth processes, accurate information flow and optimized business opportunities, gaining exposure to both wholesale and value sales environments.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct weekly sell‑through analysis to identify opportunities and adjust open‑to‑buy plans.
- Monitor logistics data (service and availability rates).
- Coordinate referencing information and product sheets during sell‑in periods.
- Manage samples and follow up after sell‑in.
- Coordinate product copies and pictures for online and retail visibility.
- Prepare and send close‑out lists to centrally managed accounts.
- Follow up on order entry and confirmations with account sales reps.
- Maintain referencing master files and track sell‑through on flash sales.
- Support seasonal close‑out strategy definition with the Value Channel Director.
- Monitor close‑out inventory weekly and prepare sell‑in meetings.
- Support the B2B tool Columbia Connect.
- Assist on various operational topics.
- Carry out ad‑hoc analysis and projects.
- Receive training and develop advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerBI analysis skills.
- Current Master’s student with a strong focus on Sales, Strategy & Management, Finance, or Business Analytics.
- Previous internship experience in a similar role.
- Comfortable working in an international office environment.
- Curious, proactive, and data‑driven with a solution‑oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using analysis tools.
- Structured, reliable, and able to take full ownership of work.
- Collaborative and also capable of independent work, with a willingness to ask questions when uncertain.
- Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Must provide an internship agreement from university and be available full‑time for 6 months.
