Corporate & Project Finance Consultant
RINA is recruiting for a position to join its office in Geona or Rozzano within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.

Job Overview
This role is within the Economics, Finance and Strategy Discipline at Genova or Rozzano, providing consulting services such as Commercial & Financial Due Diligence, Financial Modelling, Business Planning, Market Analysis, subsidized finance (Innovation Fund, IPCEI, CEF, etc.), and Cost-Benefit Analysis. The consultant will work with large companies, SMEs, international financial institutions, investment and commercial banks, development and multilateral banks, as well as governmental and export credit agencies.

Key Accountabilities

Conduct Commercial Due Diligence activities (market research, business analysis, business planning, risk assessment, sensitivity analysis) and provide independent opinion.

Review and analyze historical trading, cash flow and balance sheets.

Develop and review financial models for innovative projects focused on decarbonization (solar, wind, hydrogen, ammonia, carbon capture, grids, etc.).

Conduct market research activities to provide strategic insights on innovative technologies, trends and policies through quantitative and qualitative analysis (forecasting, industry expert interviews, customer and competitor research).

Elaborate financial strategies and project applications to funding opportunities (Innovation Fund, IPCEI, CEF, etc.).

Deliver market analysis, cost‑benefit analysis, business planning, business modelling, and exploitation strategies for Horizon Europe funded projects and participate in general assemblies and events around Europe.

Education
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance Management or Management Engineering.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management or similar, with strong academic achievement.

1-4 years of work experience in management consulting firms (e.g., Big4), financial institutions or similar corporate roles.

Previous experience in Commercial and/or Financial Due Diligence.

Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis is considered a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and articulately.

Very good command of the English language (written and spoken).

Ability to build and maintain internal and external professional relationships.
