Position: MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Summary

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.

It is located in the DISA Global Field Command, Business Operations Division, Personnel & Finance Branch (DG12).

Duties
  • Serves as the primary Intern Coordinator by overseeing the programs participating training in accordance with regulations and provides guidance to intern, manager, mentor, and HQ DISA.
  • Oversees the in and out processing of all personnel to and from the command.
  • Oversees the New Employee Orientation (NEO) for the command.
  • Provides staff assistance, overall management program support, and advisory services on a wide variety of duties, projects and tasks related to complex training, human resources programs, studies, and special projects.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Male born after 12‑31‑59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
  • This national security position may require access to classified information, requiring a favorable suitability review and security clearance. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
  • Overtime may be required as workload demands.
  • Work may require travel away from the normal duty station. In accordance with the JTR VOL II, employee may be required to travel by regularly scheduled commercial passenger or military aircraft in the performance of their assignment.
Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.

  • GG‑09: At least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience includes paid or unpaid work, volunteer work, and military service. Qualifying experience includes supporting workforce special projects and programs, assisting with in‑ and out‑processing, facilitating new employee orientation for civilians, and preparing briefing materials.
  • GG‑11: At least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience includes conducting workforce special projects and programs, conducting in‑ and out‑processing, conducting new employee orientation for civilians, and preparing briefing materials.
  • GG‑12: At least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience includes executing workforce analyses and special projects and programs, conducting in‑ and out‑processing, facilitating new employee orientation for civilians, preparing briefing materials, and presenting to senior‑level leaders.

Education

GG‑9: Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education, master’s or equivalent graduate degree may be substituted to meet the qualifying experience. Submit transcripts when applying.

GG‑11: Three full years of progressively higher‑level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree may be substituted. Submit transcripts when applying.

Foreign

Education:

If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities, credentials must be evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services and be obtained from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
