Nursey Manager, AGRICULTURE - Western Cape Role & Responsibilities
- Meet plant quality requirements according to Grower programs
- Produce plants on schedule according to the nursery production plan.
- Work collaboratively with global nursery partners
- Ensure best plant health and clean stock practices.
- Control costs and assist in annual budget planning.
- Staff Management
- Recording and maintaining accurate records, inventories, and data
- Ensure that accurate crop records are maintained
- Remain current on all regulatory compliance requirements.
Must be willing to work occasionally during weekends, holidays and periods of adverse weather to accommodate emergency needs.
Qualifications & Experience- Relevant
Qualification:
Horticulture, plant science, agronomy, etc. - Experience managing a Nursery, or commercial operation
- MS Office Advanced
- Proficiency in English, Afrikaans, Xhosa is a benefit
- Drivers and own transport.
