About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Aviation Maintenance Technician to join their operational base in George. You will be responsible for performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of safety and airworthiness. This hands-on role is crucial for maintaining the operational readiness of the fleet and contributing to the smooth functioning of aviation operations.

You will work within a supportive team environment, adhering to strict maintenance protocols and regulations in a busy hangar setting, ensuring every aircraft meets rigorous safety and performance benchmarks.

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft airframes and powerplants.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, performing necessary corrective actions.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide maintenance procedures.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately in the aircraft logbooks and maintenance records.
• Ensure all work performed complies with company policies, FAA regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety procedures.

• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, engines, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings.
• Proficiency in using various diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
