About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join their dedicated team in George . In this role, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of all automotive electrical systems. You will work with a variety of vehicle types, ensuring that all electrical components are functioning optimally and safely. • Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults in vehicle systems, including starting, charging, lighting, and accessory circuits.
• Install and service electrical components such as alarms, audio systems, and GPS trackers.
• Perform wiring repairs and modifications, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and multimeters to troubleshoot electrical issues accurately.
• Conduct routine checks and preventative maintenance on vehicle electrical systems.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all diagnostic findings and repair work performed.

• Certified Automotive Electrician or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical systems.
• Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and wiring diagrams.
• Understanding of automotive CAN bus systems and other modern vehicle electronics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a workshop environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
