Installation and Repair Technician - Mechanical Systems

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Installation and Repair Technician to manage mechanical system installations and maintenance in George . This role involves hands-on work at various customer locations throughout the Western Cape , ensuring that mechanical installations are completed to the highest standards and that systems are maintained for optimal performance. • Install, calibrate, and commission new mechanical systems and components at client sites.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, and part replacements.
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical systems, utilizing diagnostic tools and technical expertise.
• Respond promptly to service calls and ensure minimal disruption to client operations.
• Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards during service operations.

• Demonstrated experience in the installation and repair of mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools relevant to mechanical repairs.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for travel in the Western Cape .
