Fiber Optic Installation Technician

• Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cables for new customer connections and network upgrades.
• Perform site surveys to determine optimal cable routing and installation methods.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing fiber optic installations, diagnosing issues related to signal loss or connectivity.
• Ensure all installations comply with company standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and test results via mobile reporting tools.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining services and installation processes clearly to clients.

• Experience in fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing.
• Proficiency with fiber optic test equipment (OTDR, power meters, light sources).
• Strong understanding of telecommunications cabling standards and practices.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Good physical condition to handle tools and equipment.
