Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

• Own the books: general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Process payroll and payroll tax filings
• Manage grant and federal program accounting and compliance
• Own month-end and year-end close and audit preparation for the annual audit
• Keep clean, audit-ready records in our accounting system (Sage)

• At least four years of accounting experience
• Payroll and payroll tax experience
• Experience with Sage or a similar accounting system (Quick Books and others welcome)
• Government, nonprofit, or federal grant accounting experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA or CGFM a plus — not required
