Early Childhood Speech Pathology - Georgetown, DE

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY) in a vibrant school community. This role starts August 19, 2026, and continues through June 8, 2027, offering either full-time hours (35 per week) or a flexible part-time arrangement to fit your professional lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver evidence-based speech language therapy addressing social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language development (receptive and expressive)
• Utilize and assess assistive technology and augmentative communication devices to enhance student outcomes
• Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing and interpret results to inform intervention planning
• Author comprehensive, insightful reports following student assessments and classroom observations
• Develop, update, and maintain IEP goals in collaboration with the educational team
• Engage with parents and colleagues to discuss student progress and strategies for continued development
• Provide early intervention support for young learners requiring targeted assistance

Qualifications:

• Current Delaware state license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Open to SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
• Experience with moderate to severe student populations is a plus
• Strong communication, adaptability, and creative problem-solving skills
