Job Summary

Energy Advisor – Join our team to support residential home performance programs in Delaware. Ensure high‑quality audits, monitor contractor performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews of residential energy audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Complete field inspections to verify proper installation of energy‑saving measures
  • Support contractors with technical guidance and resolve installation or documentation issues
  • Assist customers by explaining audit results, recommended measures, and available incentives
  • Review audit data and reports to confirm quality and identify improvements
  • Help onboard and monitor contractors to maintain high program standards
  • Collaborate with inspectors, contractors, and internal teams to address issues and confirm corrective actions
  • Provide clear education to customers and contractors on program requirements and best practices
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in residential energy auditing, contractor management, and quality assurance
  • Building Performance Institute (BPI) BA‑T and BA‑P certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
  • Valid driver’s license and successful Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Environmental Science, or related field
  • BPI QCI certification
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software for energy modeling
  • Familiarity with building science principles and energy efficiency technologies
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of utility energy efficiency programs and weatherization standards
Compensation

Base salary range: $80,000 – $99,000 (actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and other factors). Full‑time pay range (Delaware—Remote Office): $73,738 – $125,354.
