Position OverviewWe are seeking a Civil Project Engineer with 5-10 years of land development experience to join its Georgetown, DE office. This role focuses on the design and execution of commercial and residential development projects, with responsibilities spanning grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, permitting coordination, and project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in site development, be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and possess the ability to manage multiple projects while coordinating directly with regulatory agencies and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead site design for commercial and residential land development projects
- Prepare construction documents and technical reports using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Coordinate permitting and approvals with regulatory agencies
- Manage project schedules, timelines, and deliverables across multiple developments
- Collaborate with internal teams to solve engineering and planning challenges
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 5-10 years of land development experience
- Experience with Stormwater Management (SWM), grading, storm drain systems, and ESC design
- AutoCAD proficiency required, Civil 3D preferred
- PE license and water resources experience preferred
- Fully on-site role based in Georgetown, DE
- Overtime compensation provided beyond 40 hours
