At Compal USA Technology, we are scaling next- server and AI manufacturing operations. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring process stability, improving yield, and driving quality across our production lines in Taylor, TX.
This is a high-impact role focused on process control, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
, supporting both NPI and high-volume production.
- Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with SOPs and Work Instructions (WI)
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive corrective actions to resolve production issues
- Own and maintain process equipment including ASRS, testers, and production lines
- Analyze process capability (
Cp/Cpk
) and implement improvements to enhance stability - Optimize test sequences, thermal processes, and material handling flows
- Monitor and improve First Pass Yield (FPY) across assembly and test stages
Validate new processes and test methodologies during NPI builds - Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Industrial, and Automation Engineering teams to close quality gaps
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing
, test engineering, or quality engineering - Strong analytical background with experience in root cause analysis and statistical tools
- Experience with server and rack-level assembly or manufacturing
- Familiarity with capability analysis and yield improvement methodologies
- Background in reliability or thermal testing for server products
- Understanding of server functional testing and diagnostics
